How do I book a tour with you?

How much does the tour cost?

Do tours differ on price
Yes. On weekdays (Monday – Friday) we serve baguette and snacks/tea/coffe/warm chocolate. On weekends (Saturday – Sunday) we serve baguette and warm meal. Most often you get to try our authentic salmon soup.
Does the service differ on price?
No. We will make sure you get the best possible experience chasing the northern lights.
How long in advance should I book the tour?
You can book your tour when ever it suits you. Provided that we have open spots we also allow booking the tour the same day. However, to guarantee your spot on our tour we suggest you book the tour after you have booked your accommodation.
Can I cancel my booking?
Please note that Amazing Aurora by Karlsøy Buss is not responsible for refunds, cancellations and changes for bookings made through Visit Tromsø. These should be refunded, changed or cancelled by Visit Tromsø. If you made your booking through amazingaurora.no we can offer following refunds if you cancel the tour: 100 % refunds if cancelled 7 or more days before the tour, 50 % refund if cancelled between 2 and 6 days before the tour, 0 % refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before the tour, Please note that payment of the refunds may take up to 10 working days.
How do I pay for tour?
You can pay when booking a tour. We accept creditcards and PayPal and our payments are handled by Stripe.
How should I be dressed?
You should have wollen underwear, winter jacket and pants and gloves. You can read more about how to dress properly for arctic conditions in our practical information guide HERE.
Do you provide any extra clothes if I am not dressed warm enough?
Yes, we can provide warmsuits and boots (at no extra cost).
What if I am late for meet up?
We advise you to meetup at least 10 min prior the tour. However, in case of minor delay please contact us by phone and let us know. Delays more than 15 min are considered as No Show.
What if I don´t get to see Northern Lights?
In case the chase for Northern Lights was unsuccessful you will still get to experience the arctic wilderness.
What if I forgot my camera? Do you provide photos?
Do not worry. We take lots of photos during the tour and we provide them to our guest at no extra costs.
How do I obtain photos taken during the tour?
You will receive an email from us with a link to Google Drive. Pictures of people are delivered only to people that are on the particular picture.
Will you charge me for the photos?
No! Pictures are provided free of charge.
How long do you save photos for?
Photos are available 1 year after the tour, unless we got your explicit request to delete them.
How do I get back to my hotel after the tour is finished?
We deliver each of our guests safely to their hotels.
